Diesel is the left line of bolts. From a belay at a bolt and a fixed piton climb up and left on the steep knobby featured face on pockets and inclusions on the left side of the rounded buttress. Continue up the left line of bolts, staying right as you pass two large blocky cobbles and nice pockets as the wall steepens. There are two distinct cruxes. Climb past six bolts to the anchor.

Climb up the slab to below the overhang. From pockets pull up to a large protruding fin-like inclusion and widely spaced pockets. Once established above the overhang continue up the face on pockets and knobs to a steep bulge. Pull the bulge on more pockets and knobs to a lower angle upper section with a plethora of large knobs and the anchor, just below the summit.

Walk up the short slab to a fin for handholds and clip the first bolt. Continue climbing on pockets and move left at the third bolt, then straight up to the anchor.

Climb the rounded buttress on large cobbles and pockets. Thirty feet up a bulge is surmounted using shallow pockets. Continue up the featured slab to the anchor.

The crux of this climb is the first 2 bolts. These first 8 moves or so are sequential, steep, and lacking good feet. After this crux, the climb becomes significantly easier with good holds on vertical-to-slab terrain.

Perhaps a hold or two broke off because the guidebook rates this significantly easier (or perhaps I overlooked them).

This one is short and sweet. The first bolt is considerably left of the main line, and won't protect you much. Stick clipping the second bolt is suggested. Make a couple of big moves between side pull pockets to get to the second and third bolts. The crux is finding a way over the bulge, which can be done either up and left or right then up.

This is the overhanging thin finger to hands crack on the north side of the Hatchery. A difficult barn door side pull gets to the bolt and into the jamming as the crack widens to the lip. Often aided, but infrequently attempted free.

Scramble up the apron to a set of pockets. Follow the weakness between the apron and the headwall up and left to a large deep pocket. Pull the bulge on features to a commiting mantle. Coninue up the face on small pockets as holds lead to the right toward the arete. Decipher the meandering path through stellar knobs and pockets to the anchor.

Belay from bolts at the base of the slab. Work up and left past two bolts to a cluster of large knobs and a large hole. Pull over the knobs onto a steep headwall. Utilize a couple small protruding knobs and shallow pickets to surmount a blocky buldge above the headwall. Continue climbing on amazing knobs and the occasional pocket. Pull a bulge past the last bolt and trend to the right to a ring anchor shared with South Fork.
