Direct start to Arete Action.  Stick clip the new first bolt and climb straight up the blank face.  A shouldery boulder problem on opposing gastons and underclings lead directly into the crux of Arete Action.  High quality climbing from bottom to top with no fluff.  Best route on the wall!

Rusted Ring Right

When I first spotted this line it felt divinely ordained, and I was suddenly on a mission for god to bring a little piece of heaven to the earthly realm. Kingdom Come is perhaps the best sport pitch in Southern Wisconsin for the grade. It's a little bouldery, a little techy, and sure, a little upsetting that it isn't longer. However, it packs in a number of sweet moves on a series of seemingly divine natural holds, all the way to the top. 

 To the right of Half Hearted. Start on the arete and work up to a jug underneath the roof. Some dynamic moves and serious cranking will take you through the crux and onto the corner/nose feature. A couple more balancy moves gaurd the anchor. Just a beautiful line with engaging moves, that will require a little more than a wing and a prayer for the onsight.

Start out on Kingdom Come and move left below the roof.

A two part climb. Ascend the flaring chimney directly under Half Hearted, then step left into the finger to hand crack a few feet left of HH.

Traverse in from the right. You can either stick clip the second bolt on Barely There or clip the first bolt on the project to the right and then continue up an left to a great knee bar rest before the final push. 

On the right hand end of the wall there is right leaning corner which is slabby, colorful, and fuzzy. The two bolts that protect this line appear to be just slightly older than the rock itself. But who knows. They look like welded rod. They also appear to be some sort of glue-in, though they may just be pounded. I haven't found time to investigate, but am intrigued...

This is the short, steep arete on the left hand side.  Though short, it starts 30 feet off the deck so at least you get some added exposure.  Climb arete. The crux comes early on at the second bolt layaway/laybacking to a jug. You will need a little more than a half hearted try to finish it off.

Slab route, with small crimps in between large holds. Climbs well even when it looks mossy.

The Rusty Ring Wall showcases some of the best climbing at the crag and was named for the ancient looking ring bolts found on the route On Wisconsin. They are hard to miss. The rock quality in this section is great, and the belay area is just a kick ass hang. Despite the diminuative height, most climber’s would be pressed to climb Kingdom Come, Arete Action, and Barely There in a single session.
