Stand start with the right hand on a sloping dish on the arete, and an incut crimp on the overhang for the left.  Find a foot and power up to a slot on the arete. Figure out how to match then reach up to another large hold on the arete. From here, the problem becomes less powerful and more delicate.  Rock out onto the slab and grab an undercling for the right hand and figure out a sequence to gain the high sloping rail feature. From this rail, reach for a small edge before getting some higher feet. A few more techy moves gains an easier angle on the slab and increasingly better holds until one can reach up to the lip of the boulder and top out.

A bit funky to start and brick-hard tension and grips. Stand-start high on the arete matched on an undercling feature. Pull-on and move up to a fin-pinch before figuring out how to get the other hand to the lip of the boulder.

Stand start on the tail-like end of the boulder with some good hidden feet, a slopey pinch and another sloper. Pull on and move up to some hidden holds and figure out how to mantle.

This problem starts underneath the topout of "Slimy Salamander" on a set of sidepulls. Make a hard move up to an edge then gun for the lip before topping out.

Sit or squat start the far left-side of the sloping lip. Pull-on and make a series of difficult moves rightwards on the lip before a crux sequence to gain improving holds around the corner of the block before topping out.

Stand start matched on a jug. Smear some feet below and mantle onto the slab then balance up the rest of the way with good feet and hand smears.

One of the best lowballs ever. Sit-start in the cave with a toe-cam-hand-match on a giant undercling horizontal break. Pull-on and either balance or fire for a good slot in another horizontal feature before hitting improving holds and exiting on a fun V1 arete to mantle. 

Stand-start above the small pit with both hands on the sloping rail feature. Find some feet and get established onto the wall before following a series of sloping rails up or going big for the lip.

Sit-start the left side of the short arete/ lip of the boulder. Pull-on and make a series of fun moves traversing rightwards to the apex before topping out.

Start in the small void created between to boulder and the ground matched on a large hold. Find some feet then pull onto the wall. The wall is overhanging at the start and the crux is to figure out how to utilize a large sloping shelf and mantle onto the slab. Once on the slab continue up and right of the crack or finish up and left for an easier finish.

Sit-start the bulging base of the axe-head arete. Figure out some foot trickery and make a series of hard slaps and smacks on slopers and meatwraps until a large undercling feature can be reached. From here, hike the feet up and finish up the easiest V5 in the park.

Toilet Bowl is a long forgotten classic highball with a questionable landing located on one of the most unique features in the Black Jack Boulders. Start on some small holds at head height and do who knows what to get up to a toilet bowl jug at the lip. The difficulties don't end here, as the mantle is reportedly (and looks) very scary. 

 This one doesn't get done anymore, but with the resurgence of the upper boulders I think it makes sense to post this one up and try to get some communal stoke on it.

Sit start inside the cave down and left on the far side. Start with both hands inside the large off-width horizontal. Pull on and smear and bicep your way out right in order to join "Check the Technique".

 

Start laying down inside the cave with a small horn and a knob with a nice heelhook. Figure out where to go before smacking the lip of the roof. The lip encounter is quickly followed by struggling onto the low angled slab leading to the top of the large boulder.

A secluded location that is actually very close to the main area of Black Jacks. The backside of these large boulders can be seen to the left of "Blackjack Crack". In this area, the climber will find a vast array of climbs varying in difficulty from V0 hands-free slabs to hard full-body compression climbing like such found on "Hatchet Sit".
