Excellent face and arete climbing on featured sandstone with some delicate and exposed moves throughout both pitches. The first pitch is supposed to be the crux but the move getting off the belay ledge on the 2nd pitch was the hardest, in my opinion.

The first pitch involves fun face and arete climbing with some thoughtful sections that make you pause and figure out the best sequence. A lot of exposure as you cross back and forth on the arete multiple times.

The second pitch begins with a really hard move immediately off the belay and then continues above for a long (150' foot) pitch of fun climbing on mostly good holds, topping out on a nice ledge.

A direct start to blood sport. Climb short bombay OW. To splitter low angle hands. To low andgle easy OW. Save a #4 for upper OW.

Fantastic climbing on a modern route. Quality rock and interesting climbing.

P1, 5.10, 100': Start in a small, left-facing corner (gear). Some tenuous finger locks near the top of the corner lead to easier climbing before busting left on the face. Closely spaced bolts lead up to the imposing roof, which goes much easier than it looks, on good crimps and sidepulls to a spacious ledge and bolted belay.

P2, 5.10, 100': Steep, bolted climbing (7 b's) on fantastic patina edges lead to a small ledge. Move right to a shallow crack (gear protected) and climb on edges and jams to an alcove (b) and bolted stance to the left.

P3, 5.10, 150': Start left, then move right and back left under a small tree. Slabby, and a bit more run-out than the previous pitch. You will definitely be making 5.10 moves above bolts, but the wall is clean. Belay at a bolted stance left of a small left-facing corner.

P4, 5.10, 60': Tricky moves off the belay on sandy, rounded rock lead to a bolt. Move right into a short finger crack (gear) and a ledge and bolt anchor.

Descent: Rappel the route with 2 60m ropes. With double rope rappels, you can go straight from the top of P2 to the ground.

P1 5.11 Use the left crack start for Kung Fu Fighter, then clip a bolt,  traversing left onto the steep patina face. Stiff warm up!

P2 5.9 Head left to the hanging dihedral, bolts + optional gear. Stellar!!

P3 5.11 Quality sustained patina, climb straight up, then traverse right into the crack system.

P4 5.10+ Climb the flared crack, awkward at times, then bust left onto a slab clipping bolts to gain the big ledge.

Wonderful right-trending finger crack full of lie back and edging moves with an interesting top out. I asked some locals about the name, they didn't know it. This is a merely a suggestion for now.

An OK route that climbs better than it appears.  Start in an alcove just left of the obvious dihedral of Inner Chi.

A beautiful line up a clean corner.  Climb the obvious corner that starts at .5 camalot and eventually narrows to nothing.  When the crack gets super tiny and the climbing gets harder, move right to some face holds, then back left into the corner. Near the end, 2 bolts lead past some face climbing to an anchor.

Begin in the back right of the alcove. Scramble 20 feet of gully to a ledge or make easy, difficult to protect, slab moves on the face to the left. From the vegetated ledge, move into a crack to the left that flares after 60 feet. Pull a small roof in the flare that leads to double cracks for 15 feet to a ledge with anchors.

P1. Climb short hand crack to chimney, step right onto slab.(clip 2 black bolts)After last bolt on slab traverse right to 2 bolt anchor.

Hong Kong Phooey

is the sport climb on the slab left of

. It comprises thin edging at a consistent grade, to a large hueco near the top, with the last move stepping left to a bolted anchor (shared with a 5.9 crack climb to its left- "Miagi").

The holds feel a little flakey, which is probably normal for newer face climbs in Zion.

Start down and left of the pedestal. Fun face climbing past patina(DO NOT CLIMB WHEN WET!!) Use arete for the  last 1/4 of route.

Mortal Kombat is a purportedly 8-pitch route that climbs the prominent right-facing corner in the alcove containing Miagi, Inner Chi, and a few other routes.  Only the first three pitches are commonly done.

5.9, 80' Climb the hand crack three feet to the right of the corner offwidth crack, and continue up the easy chimney and face, which contains a single bolt. Top out on the pedestal next to a tree at a two-bolt belay.

5.10 150' Continue up the corner, climbing large blocks until the rocks becomes more clean and steep.  This is the crux, but chimney technique and just enough hand cracks keep it from feeling desperate. From here it is fairly sustained 5.10- to a good-sized alcove. Build a belay in small cracks.

5.9 60' Another pitch in the corner, but quite a bit easier and more featured than p2. From the sandy ledge at the top, either belay at the small trees (recommended) or continue 20' up the low-angle slot and pop out left to a bolted belay. This is the first anchor to rap from, and I believe the top of Blood Sport.

Two 60m raps down Blood Sport will get you down to the ground.

Note: There is a fun and moderate-looking bolted route starting at the top of p1 and trending left.  I didn't see it in the guidebook or here on MP, so any details would be appreciated.

P1 - Climb a handcrack up the right-hand side of a small tower to a bolted belay. (5.9 ~ 75')

P2 - Climb out the blocky roofs and into a steep, big-hands to fist splitter finishing at a hanging bolted belay. This is a great pitch. (5.11- ~ 100')

P3 - Climb the crack to below the roof. Traverse right into a pod, pull out of the pod and continue through a small roof to a bolted belay. (5.9+ ~ 100')

P4 - Climb out the steep offwidth on kinda gnarly rock, continue up cracks/face on rock that looses quality to the top of the formation. This is the only junky pitch on the route. (5.10 ~ 175')

Descent - Rappel the route with (2) 60m ropes.

Operation Condor is a fun route leading up to the big roof at the top of the third pitch of Kung Fu Fighter. The two linked up would make a solid and varied bit of cragging.

P1: Go up the blocky left facing corner for fifty or so feet. A few thin-to-wide hands pieces protects this short pitch. 5.8

P2:Face climb up and left on thin plates for 11 bolts.

P3: Step left off the belay and latch a hold right on the arete. From there, bust up and left into a finger crack that leads up to the edge of the Kung Fu Fighter roof. Continue up through the roof to the third pitch Kung Fu Fighter anchor.

Iron Gizzard is a direct start to Operation Condor. Climb directly up from your packs until the dihedral ends, then wander around the corner right to the 4th or 5th bolt of Operation Condor, making sure to extend these bolts to minimize rope drag. Climb to what would be the top of the second pitch of OC.

You can still get off with a single rope by rapping OC.

High first bolt(find a stick and clip it) then climb left arching finger crack to well bolted face climbing, crimps, jugs, and hueco's

A tricky move off the ground gains a stance below the obvious left-facing corner. This crack begins as hands but widens to OW as you get higher. Belay at a 2-bolt anchor at 100', below the roof. A second pitch traverses out below the roof to the left, passing a bolt, to another anchor, will need 2 ropes to descend if you do P2.

Start at the two hand cracks, trending right as the left cracks closes.  Stem up into the final moves. Top out at a ledge with a tree.

A pure adventure route that goes to the rim and beyond roll a fatty blunt for the summit of Sub peak of Bridge Mnt. You deserve it.

If you don't like the beach mannn... Move on over to another route. Cuz this MFer has sand.

5.8 PG. 1st pitch chimney, bong hits and a lil OW. 2 bolt chain anchor

5.10+   2nd is the crux good luck (once protected by a baby knife blade(and whipped on) now has a bolt) one can aid past this part at c1 smoke weeeed 2 bolt chained anchor

If you made it this far you survived the sandiest pitches of the route.

5.9 3rd is the "kush" pitch 35m open book hand crack.  2 bolt chained anchor

5.9 4th will clean up with more traffic 2 bolts lead you on an exposed floor dropping chimney thing to a short hand crack and a finger scissor hash roof. (Note. There is an anchor below the roof with blue tat. Do no use this, pull the roof to a good belay ledge.) 2 bolt chained anchor

5.8 PG 5th pitch steep left and up Ganga treed filled chimney thing. 2 bolt chained anchor

But one day me and another partner (Crazy Kevin) pushed the route to the summit.

From pitch 5 hike back and right up to a ledgish thing walk back to 5.9 chimney. 2 bolt tat anchor.

From here you can un-rope and scramble to the top of Sub peak of Bridge Mnt. And smoke your blunt with a view! After the summit it is a short walk to Crawford Arch heading west on the sand bench.

The entire route can be rapped with a single 70m

Pitches are 35m or shorter.

Clip 3 black bolts.(first bolt is high. recommend having a fart stick ) finger/hand crack to chains.

Blood sport climbs the left side of the recess immediately left of the prominent arete that Enter the Dragon climbs. Look for a shallow right-facing corner with a straight-in crack on the left wall of the corner that starts out fingers gradually growing to hands. Climb this corner and face splitter to a ledge 75 feet up and traverse right 20 feet across a slab to a bolted anchor. Continue up a left-facing corner to the 2nd belay. The start of the third pitch is noticeable by the chimney in the right-facing corner capped by the Van Dam roof.
